The Flesh of Play: Zines on the Intersection of Games, Identity, and the Body
A downloadable zine
Naming the Nameless is my first zine, one I physically assembled on the topic of my burgeoning understanding of my own gender combined with my thoughts on how characters in roleplay may be understood.
Corpus is my second zine, a digitally native continuation of my meditations on identity going into transition and games as collaborative bodies.
True Tongue is an essay companion to Corpus, a short meditation on systems as bones and causal understandings
This bundle contains the images of the original Naming the Nameless zine, the pdf of Corpus, the full text of True Tongue, and text versions of each.
If you find these engaging, I encourage you to look at my other work in physical gaming.

Naming the Nameless is probably one of my favorite essays, ever. It's just so beautiful. I appreciate Corpus a lot too, but Naming the Nameless just hits so hard.
if you're sitting on this page with two voices debating on whether or not to pick these up, let me be the tiebreaker:
Yes.
